Netball Manchester Live returns to Manchester Arena in 2018, for the third time.
Manchester Thunder will take on defending Superleague champions Wasps on Saturday, June 2, which promises to be a pulsating match on the city's biggest stage.
Organisers will be hoping for record crowds for the game, with Thunder planning to have 22 bees (the symbol of Manchester) printed on specially-designed dresses, to remember those who lost their lives in the Arena attack in May.
Executive Member for Schools, Culture and Leisure, Councillor Luthfur Rahman, said:
"We're really excited to be working with the Manchester Thunder again and wish them all the best for what will be a really competitive Netball Super League season. Hosting top-quality netball is a great addition to Manchester's world-class sporting offer and I hope that as many people as possible will support the team and be inspired to try the sport for themselves."
