Thunder Community Coach
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated individual with leadership qualities, a strong work ethic, passion for the game and experience of working in the netball community and outreach programme to help us deliver on our vision, mission and objectives.
These are exciting times for our sport, with the conclusion of the first season of NSL 2.0, this is an exciting opportunity to develop links in the community across the whole of the Northwest region. We are seeking an outstanding individual to support our ambitious aims. The development of our community programme is integral in the development of our brand to ensure we are successful in creating a franchise that will lead the way in the new NSL era both on and off the court.

Job Summary
The Community Coach will work as part of the Manchester Thunder team to engage within the NW netball community, especially schools, clubs and social leagues to deliver an extensive programme across the whole of the Northwest Region.

Key Activities:
The below list includes what you will be doing but not exclusive to :-
- Delivery of schools partnership programme / coaching sessions
- Coaching on Manchester Thunder community camps
- Coaching school tours sessions
- Delivery of at least 1 of our Hive programmes
- Develop and deliver an extensive summer programme
- Plan and deliver Manchester Thunder Tournaments , inclusive of schools , clubs and corporate.
- Assist NSL squad members in their delivery of masterclasses
- Develop and co-ordinate the Manchester Thunder league
- Coach at match day Rumble events
Managing Relationships:
Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including players, coaches, volunteers and administrators.
Engage in productive and cooperative working relationships with England Netball.
Management of any players or Coaches you may engage with to aid delivery to ensure a successful programme is delivered.
Support Manchester Thunder staff across whole franchise activity.
Other:
Attend biweekly staff meetings in person where availability allows
Attend meetings with stakeholders where necessary.
Report back monthly on all programmes
Liaise with England Netball programmes to ensure connected delivery across NSL 2:0 KPIs
Abide by the provisions of the Company’s Equality and Diversity Policy.

Special Conditions:
- Please note that a proportion of work will take place outside of normal working hours (including weekday evenings and weekends.)
- Travel is essential.
- Current driving license is imperative.
- DBS check is required for the role.
