“It’s going to be a really tough game against Severn Stars, they’ve had a great start to the season with three solid wins and they’ll be flying high and confident. We know they are going to come out and look to take our scalp but we’ve trained really hard this week, we’ve had a really good look at Stars and where their strengths are and where we think we can expose them, we’ve had two solid training sessions and believe that we hopefully have put a good game plan together to be able to break them down.”
“We know Jo Trip will be confident, she’s got a solid defensive unit and the attack are firing pretty well too, so we are going to have to make sure we starve Burger of ball early, and really put that pressure on early from centre pass.”

Player(s) To Watch:
Jess Shaw is a player to watch for Stars and an obvious player that we are going to have to shut down. Her connection with Sigi [Burger] has been unstoppable at times so far this season so that’s something we are definitely going to be looking to break down that connection between WA and GS. We also know that their defence unit, whoever they put out there, is really solid in the structures they playing so we are going to have to look to expose their defence line early.
