Thunder Performance Pathway Support Team
Manchester Thunder’s Performance Pathway programme aims to find, inspire and develop the next generation of leading netballers for Thunder, the North West and England.
To achieve this, we are looking for an outstanding Performance Pathway Support Team.
Under the guidance and direction of our Director of Netball Karen Greig, you will be led by Pathway Head Coach Lauren Palmer. You can contact Lauren by email at [email protected].
Manchester Thunder Pathway Physiotherapist
Responsible to: | Performance Pathway Coach |
Salary: | £50 Home Fixtures | £75 Away Fixtures |
Main Purpose of the Role: | Provide physio support on match days for U21, U19 & U17.
Report to franchise pathway coach + S+C lead, injuries / managing back to play post injury |
Commitment Requested: | All U21 / U19 / U17 fixtures |
Main Duties
- Liaise with Pathway head coach with regards to athletes needs
- Complete UKAD advisor online course
- Provide physio to athletes on match days
- Report to PPC post match days any injuries or injury management
- Manage injured athletes on return to play strategies
- Create positive communication between players and coaching team
